1. Use an experienced commercial contractor - a lot of companies claim they are experienced in the commercial sector but really their expertise is in installing solar PV onto houses or otherwise known as the domestic sector. Ask you contractor if they handle everything ? – do they process all the paper work when applying for all the necessary permissions to secure the return on your investment, if not then be prepared to research that you need to do.   3. Your building does not have to be south facing. East and west facing buildings work just fine. M3 will always confirm the exact return on any given building before taking an order.

If you getting several quotes, make sure you ask the companies for their specifications & warranties to ensure you are comparing apples with apples. M3 provide a 10 year workmanship warranty and 10-12 year warranties all solar panels , ensuring support and piece of mind for the life time of your investment.
  5. Planning is normally not required for solar PV when installing on buildings, but it is always worth checking. M3 offer planning on a no win no fee basis.
